Crewman Apprentice Ori
Position Engineering Officer
Second Position Operations Officer
Rank Crewman Apprentice
|Physical Description||Small, wiry, softspoken. More often than not if you don't think she's in the room, she's in the room.|
|Other Family||Guardianship awarded to Reginald Madison Hawthorn for duration of citizenship approval.|
Personality & Traits
|General Overview||A girl who snuck onto a Federation supply ship visiting the Theological Reserve world of Prism. Her first words in Federation Standard was 'Abysmal! Abysmal!" Followed seconds later by the correction of 'Asylum!'
That supply ship was the USS Donnelly, whose Chief Engineer was Reginald Hawthorn.
|Strengths & Weaknesses||She is without equal in her area of expertise.
She's from Prism, a planet steeped in mysticism and religious fundamentalism. She was found sleeping atop a Photon Torpedo, after having written on it's birth name of 'Swift'.
|Ambitions||To be better than she was raised to be.|
|Hobbies & Interests||Fire.Fire fire fire fire fire fire fire.|
|Personal History||She's very closed lipped about her life before being found hidden inside an empty crate in the Donnelly's cargo hold. We can assume it was less than pleasant.
Having been raised on a Federation Theological Preserve World, a planet in which its population have denounced the Federation character in favour of their own take on self-governance, Ori has only recently learned of the wider universe. Many things Federation citizens take for granted are mind-bogglingly miraculous and terrifying to Ori.
So finding out there was a 'sky ship of honourable samurai' who go forth to hunt the ronin and bandits between the stars, she found that quite a comfort.
She is currently undergoing an adjustment period as her citizenship application to the United Federation of Planets is being processed. Given the nature of her arrival in the UFP, and the ripples it caused amid certain circles, it is by no means a guarantee.
|Service Record||Starfleet Academy|
|Notes||Ori has been known to set fires if the plot gets boring. This is not a joke. Ori has already torched a captain's ready room and she's hungry to feed more IKEA furniture of the future to the Molon Labe's kami.
A kami is a 'things' spirit. Disrespect the Molon's at your peril.
